I was chatting to my dad and going through the tax year and such which and he asked me how I did my banking. I told him I did it online and he was like 'no no!' You can get hacked and wiped out etc. He said I should go in person and withdraw my money with a book etc!
OMG I was going to burst into laughter! It's such a foreign concept to do anything that isn't online these days to me. The convenience and ease and flow of doing most everything on the inter web is a lifesaver, especially given my crazy schedule.
The news can really distort the weighting of well being to not well being. Yes, bad sheet happens but we live in a wondrous age, where everything is just so much more accessible and do able. Personally, I love it! Though my parents might disagree...
It's partly about having trust in the world around you. I've been there and it's a horrible feeling of being in fear or terror about what might go wrong. Definitely not a place I want to be mentally!
Obviously, live your life within the limits that you feel comfortable, but don't be too scared to go beyond. Trust!
