Naomi Campbell didn't realise what a big deal it was to be on the cover of Vogue (it was also Anna Wintour's first September issue! Which I'm guessing is a big deal!).

Anyhoo, due to what was probably a mix of naivety and next logical stepness it didn't seem a huge deal to Ms. Campbell what had occurred! For herself and for a woman of colour to be on such a prestigious megazine!

Sometimes to not know what we're getting into and what a big deal what we are about to do is sometimes the biggest gift. Because we don't try to talk ourselves out of it. We don't terrify ourselves by thinking how unworthy we are or how we might mess up. Instead we just go in as if everything is natural- which success should be!

Walk in with the confidence of Naomi and werk it!
