At the investors day lecture I went to, the session was looking at your personal finances. The teacher said that when working with a personal finance advisor they'll go through your money goals, current situation and a number of factors to help work out where best to direct you. But at the end of the day, you have to decide what to do.

In other words, no matter what the advisors asks or tells you, only you can know for you.

The same is true for life and self development! You can read all the books, watch all the YouTube videos and speak to as many experts and friends as possible but at the end of the day you're in charge.

This whole life is your journey with you. Your discovery of what makes you tick, what pushes your buttons and how best to function in the world. It's quite literally a lifetime's worth of work! Tune into your gut, your intuition, your connection- whatever you name that inner guidance part of you and see what feels right and what doesn't.

Despite their best intentions- friends, family, society cannot know what is best for you so don't give your power away! Trust in you!
