I was watching my fave roundtable interviews, this one was with the reality stars and Gordon Ramsey was talking about how a blind chef participated in the contest. I just had to YouTube that- I caught a two minute clip and the chef in question was Christine Ha.
And it almost made me cry! The clip I saw was when they were baking an apple pie. Gordon was asking her what happened as she seemed so disorganised and haphazard until the last minute...
He then proceeded and was rather kind in detailing how her cooked apple pie looked and how wonderful it came out! She, many contestants and almost me started crying! He gently told her that she needed to believe in herself more.
And don't we all! No matter what, it's so important to have that unwavering self belief in our talents and gifts. Because there are many people out there who are more than happy to criticise you in order to make themselves feel better, but that is the backwards way about it all. Love yourself is the key!
