What does trust mean to you? For me, it conjures up the feeling of security, well being, confidence, a knowingness that it's all good and I am taken care of by all that is.

It doesn't matter so much what word you use (as the Universe is responding to your vibration and not what you are saying) as much as the emotions that are generated.

There are certain circumstances where I have complete trust and faith. I know in this day and age of hacking and online stuff that it's easy for one to be hesitant and guarded when giving out credit card details etc But I don't really feel that. I'm not saying that I hand out my details to any Tom, Dick or Harry but I don't feel unnecessary worry about those kinds of things. And in any case, the card company will have you covered if anything goes awry.

Now, it's definitely not my recommendation that you suddenly try to mimic that feeling of security and just go handing out your details to anyone who'll listen, as you need to work within the boundaries of your own belief systems. But it is my advice to try to trust a little bit more in who you are and all the good that's lined up.

At the basis of fears and phobias is usually that something could go wrong or harm you. Whilst I'm not an adrenaline seeker, I didn't really think I was scared of heights, until I looked down from a tall building! I caught myself and my thought was basically 'Dear Lord, what would happen if I fell!' Whereas if I shifted my perspective and thought 'What an exhilarating place to be!' I know I would feel much better!

I guess the take home message is just to catch yourself from terrorising yourself (one of Louise Hay's key points in learning to love yourself- don't scare yourself!). And try to reframe it.

You are loved, you are taken care of, you are protected and looked after. Just breathe a little and trust a wee bit more! And now you'll be enjoying life with a bit more freedom and fun!!!

'Feel the fear and do it anyway' by Susan Jeffers is a great book for dealing with those kindsa issues.

Happy trusting dear one!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx
