I went to see the new Fifty Shades movie to see what the hype was (and also as I'm an investor in the film company behind it!) and I was not overly impressed. The soundtrack was stunning as was the case for the first movie.
Anyhoo, I walked out of the film thinking how bad it was, when I heard a lady say to her friend 'Amazing! How romantic!' I guess that's why it's done so well at the box office (thankfully!).
It just goes to show- there's no accounting for taste- kidding! It's different strokes for different folks (literally)! There is so much wonderful diversity in his world that there's something for everybody.
Your goal is not to push against what you don't like but to carve out and find that which you enjoy and what works for you. And then from there, use it as a launching pad for more enjoyment.
Let everyone else find their pleasures in whatever way does it for them. It doesn't need to impinge on your well being. Live in joy and let live in joy!
