When I was DJing, someone left their phone with me to charge. I didn't realise how drunk they were as they forgot to come back for it! I was looking round the room but didn't see them. I was a bit conflicted about what to do- I could've tried to track them down but I had to concentrate on my set.
So, I decided to wait until the end and hand it into lost property in the hopes they checked their in the week! I noticed one of the security guards was talking to someone but I had to interrupt and give him the phone. The girl he was talking to shrieked 'OMG! I've been calling that number! She was helping the owner try to find the phone. Out of a room of hundreds of people, it just happened to be her who was in the vicinity!
Well that was easy! It was interesting how a combination of putting things in order of my priority, waiting for the impulse and seeing the results and how easy it can be to have things fall into place.
All is well!!!
