A few days ago, I was regaling with tales of my adventure to Asia to one of my peoples (he incidentally is from the Far East). I told him how I made a dash to Macau as I wanted to see how it compares to Vegas and how on earth did it manage to outstrip Nevada of the title of 'biggest gambling revenues' (answer: £50-100 minimum bets might do it! Lol)
He seemed quite impressed at how 'brave' I was especially going to Macau on my own! To me it wasn't anything particularly special or out of the ordinary. I love my adventures with me and me! Anyhoo, he recounted how apparently Macau can be quite dangerous (people opening gun fire in public and what not...mafia influences?!), and how he said even people from Hong Kong can sometimes be scared to go over.
I thought this was wildly interesting as I never felt anything but safe out there. The buildings are well lit and the area oozes of luxuriousness and I was more than happy to wonder out and about at 3am without a care in the world!
Interesting though, had I been told that before I went there, then I probably would have been far more apprehensive and might not even have gone!
I guess the message here is to go out into the world and make your own conclusions. There is so much well being on this planet that it can be very easily forgotten if you flick through the news and see all the destruction and disaster going on.
Set your tone of well being and do what you're inspired to do! All is so very well in your world!
Happy exploring!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
