That's what Abe says, kinda! I was watching part of the Steve Jobs documentary and it still blows my mind the effect he had and continues to have on the world, what an amazing legacy!
It showed how he started off. Back in the day they had the old tone based telephony systems which used beep thingys. They managed to work out how to create a little box that would send the signals down the line and so they would be able to call internationally for free. As they stated- it let them control billions of dollars worth of communication lines using only a box worth $100.
They then went on to say that had they not experienced that, then the Apple computers wouldn't exist. Presumably as it set them up and whetted their appetite for all things technological. Amazing how from these smaller starts, that they've have gone on to great things. It shows how you must appreciate and make the most of every experience as you never know where it will lead you.
Such was his belief in what he was doing, he was able to communicate that so passionately to us that we got sucked into his Vortex of knowingness. Although his journey wasn't completely smooth- he was fired from the company he created, but no doubt that added to the richness of his journey. It was this experience that he recounts himself re-starting as a novice- free from the expectations of success and those boundaries. And from here he went on to eventually create smash after smash hit, with the iPhone 6S smashing sales targets even to this day!
So I think what stands out most for me now, is just believe as much as you can. Believe! Believe! Believe! Faith can move mountains! You never know what's possible but just believe in something. And the world can be your oyster!
