So Amy Schumer (comedienne de l'annee!) was apparently accused of stealing jokes by fellow comedians. She vehemently denies this, so much so she spoke about taking a polygraph to prove her innocence.
Now, if there's legal eagles involved, she probably would need to do such things (or at least have more of a compelling reason to), but the thing is, there's nothing you can do to please them out there. Because then there'll be another and another... And another!
When people complain about something (and they are usually complainers), there's very little you can do to please them. Satisfy them in one way and they'll be able to find something else to gripe about.
Likewise, if you can find something to appreciate in one situation, then you'll be able to find more and more things that you love. It just depends on your focus.
Stop trying to please anyone else, it really is a draining experience. There's no need to explain or justify who you are or what you choose. We want to you to be self secure enough that you can act in ways which are in alignment and when you do, life will flow.
That's the key. It is so tempting to try to get others to understand you, as if that somehow validates your beingness or gives you a feeling of confidence and reassurance. But that is really looking for love in all the wrong places.
Relax into your well being, trust who you are and your inner inspiration. And tell em all to bugger off! Lol.
