The negative effects can be far reaching- affecting appetite, sugar levels, mood and all sorts. Something as simple and precious but infinitely important is necessary for good well being.
It also ties in with having good control over your mental state. If you're wired, worrying all the time it can be hard to switch off, relax and rest. Believe me- been there done that!
Being able to breathe deep, calm down and let the day's concerns flow off your back is so vitally important for your mind and body.
Meditation, mindfulness, deep breathing are all great tools to help you take it down a notch and allow some bliss time in!
