Sandra Oh was speaking about how she was offered the lead role in her Emmy nominated show ‘Killing Eve.’ She was scrolling through the script wondering who she was reading for, when they said to her- ‘the lead!’ She had been so conditioned to be the ‘best friend’ she hadn’t even considered she was up for the main part.

Lucky for her, those around her and those involved in the show saw her in the role. And it’s turned out really well as she is Emmy nominated and is the first actress of Asian descent to be up for an award as a lead actress.

Sometimes, you need the help, support and love of kind ones around you to help you see clearly! It’s ok to not be perfect and ask for help.
