If you don't know by now, I absolutely love the Hollywood Reporter roundtable interviews on YouTube. They have some of the most powerful, successful and talented stars in the world all round a table, discussing life, career and how they got to where they are.
The interviews do ask a varied range of questions during the interviews but one thing which gets posed quite frequently is 'If you weren't doing your job now, what other career would you be doing instead?' Obviously a number of them have some sort of alternative but a good few reply 'I have no idea!' And even more answer with immense passion that 'I just love acting so much, there's nothing else I could do!'
It really comes across how much they love what they do for a job. And to a degree that's sort of how it should be. That you love what you do so much that you can't imagine doing anything else.
Obviously, it's not a recommendation to chuck in your 9-5pm and go live life in a circus- as much fun as that might be! It's to try to incorporate more of your passions into your life.
So, if you wanted to be a dancer, you can take classes after work or the weekend. If you wanted to be an artist, then you could paint when you get home. If you love to teach, then get some nice friends round.
Work more of what you 'just love to do' into your life. It's not only fun but it raises your vibration which can only be a good thing!
