I am still loving the Hans Zimmer concert, it really was some amazing music being played and the skill of the musicians was out of this world amazing!
I was watching a live interview with Tina Guo- the most amazing cellist and she was fielding questions from the musicians and musical parents. She spoke about her upbringing and her parents were music teachers (and incredibly strict!).
Considering how naturally she handles her cello and blows out the music, I thought it was a natural gift she was born (and that might be so, although the she doesn't claim it be the case!). In fact, she said her parents' friends told them she was rubbish when she started and she shouldn't be playing!
She said that as a child she practised between 5-8 hours each day, first thing before and after school. OMG! That number blew my mind- that is a tremendous amount of hours, but seeing how good she is, kinda makes sense.
To be a masterful creator, it can take a lot of practise and work to get your mind and vibration up to speed, but that is the work. Being conscious and feeling good and keeping a positive mental attitude- that is really vital for living an enjoyable life.
So whenever you are, keep going, keep believing in yourself and keep practising!!!
