Here are some reflections...
- At the heart of it, everyone is good and wants to feel better.
I just love the people that come to the groups. It's always a warm, friendly, leading edge atmosphere. When we hear each other's stories, the respect, empathy and love we have for each other is simply unparalleled. Everyone is just doing their best to make it through life, as Dory says 'just keep swimming!'
- This shit works!
If you work it... Obviously it goes to show that if you want to make positive change in your life, it will require some sort of commitment- whether that's going to groups regularly, reading the books, listening to the tracks or whatever it is that keep you conscious.
- It pays to be brave...
I totally respect and admire you all for attending. I know how scary and intimidating it can be to go to a group, especially for the first time. What will you say? What will everyone think of you? Are you going to like it? It takes immense bravery to show up. I am so appreciative of you all and really aim to create a safe, loving, supportive atmosphere where you can feel comfortable without being judged.
- You'll have your ups and downs- it's inevitable.
Everyone has their up and down days. And that's alright! No one is perfect insofar as you'll be happy happy all the time. It's impossible and someone would give you a slap! It's just to acknowledge where you are and when you're ready, just to focus on feeling a little bit better!
- Just keep trying things out there. Some will work for you better than others!
I've done everything from training as a croupier, dance teaching, finance bits, being a crap DJ (or was it the teacher that was shit?!) and all sorts! Some things will stick and others won't, just keep living life and mixing it up! You'll always learn something about yourself. Knowing what you don't want, is equally as important as knowing what you do!
- Keep the faith and never give up!
If it's something you enjoy, that feels good to you, just keep on at it. The short term might not be what you expected but if you keep talking to people, learning, mixing it up then you can achieve whatever it is you set your mind to. Just be easy about it!
- Know when to say 'yes and when it's right for you to say 'no.'
Different people want different things from you. It's so important to be strong in self and know when to do something and when to not. You can't please everyone and you have to do what works best for you. Because more often than not, you'll be the one who'll have to deal with the consequences!
- Ignore the fooking naysayers!
People may throw casual (or serious!) insults, put downs and criticisms your way. You just have to shut them out because they know not what they do not what they say! It feels bad for a reason- your Source is knowing that their negativity is not true, so don't get sucked into their nonsense. Know your greatness and how wonderful you are!
- Do the work but also do the play!
It's that mix of doing the vibrational work but also having those tools of distraction- the movies, music, dancing and other things which take your mind away from it all. Have a mix of both and experiment as to what works best and when!
Here's to many more decades with you all!!! Love you all tons and tons and thanks as always for being here!
All is well!!!
Happy 7th-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
