I just saw The Founder movie the other day and it was rather good! Michael Keaton was the star, playing the guy, who although screwed over the original McDonald brothers, did develop it into the huge company that it is today.
Portrayed as a middling salesman, his determination to do more and more with his companies eventually led him to expand McDo franchises across the USA. Persistence was the key, as one of his self help tapes kept telling him. There are many talented people out there who aren't doing as well as they should because they are not persistent enough.
Keep believing, keep trying and it's all for the experience and journey in any case. If you are passionate about whatever it is you're doing, then just keep at it. If you can focus on the experience and factor out 'success', then it becomes more enjoyable and that's what really matters and the rest will follow.
