So, as Abe says, there's really two ways to know where you're vibrating: 1/ How you feel 2/ By looking around you at what manifests. In an ideal world, you'd be living most of your life by number 1- because this is your most powerful indicator, but hey, just do your best with the intent to learn and expand.
Today was really a manifestational reminder that self must come first. No one else is worth the price of your misalignment. Your most important relationship is with you and you...
On a side note, I was listening to the amazing Jess Ortner's podcast with Pam Grout (author of E2)- and she briefly mentioned she loves the Way Of Mastery. They have a wonderful darshan talk on their website, where the teacher speaks about letting go of needs- the need to be understood by others, the need to appear as good- these are all tied up with others' perceptions of us, which at its basis is because we don't feel self confident and validated within ourselves. When we completely love and accept ourselves, we can let the other go and live much freer, aligned lives!
Anyhoo, I was engaging in a not so great conversation with a friend of mine, and we were light hearted disagreeing. I did feel my focus go on trying to get them to understand my point of view. And did do my best to let go and realise it wasn't my issue to convince them but what can ya do? When I got home, SPLAT! I dropped my iPod Nano, face down on the hard floor. I picked it up and the screen is cracked and smashed sob sob! And I NEVER get cracked screens or anything like that, I take care of my electronica and when I have dropped my bits in the past, they have magically been fine.
A non believer might say 'Well that's just one of those things!' But I know for me, it was just an indicator that I was vibrating in a not so uplifting space. A few mins later I almost drop a Tupperware of melon on the floor- whenever there's a string of not wanted manifestations, I take it as a hint to call it a day and go straight to bed!
After a few mins of dismay, I took the J-Esther way of looking at things and thought 'Oooh, something to buy!' So I just went on Amazon and ordered a new one.
So there we have it- no one is worth you being pulled off your high flying disc, your good space. They are just not worth it. Instead, let go of the need to be understood by others, to have them think of you as good, but rather align with the brilliance of who you are, know your greatness, wellness and power.
PS my Nano still works, so all is not lost...
All is truly well!
Happy non push against-ing!!!
All my love, Nick Xxx
