One of my friends was mentioning something about 'Get The Guy' workshops that she was planning to attend. I kinda did an inner eye roll as I had seen those PUA (Pick Up Artist) on TV shows and it all seems a bit too contrived and manipulated.
Another friend happened to have the book so I flicked through it expecting to be rather amused and somewhat horrified. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the overlap between what we learn in Law Of Attraction.
He advises that you give compliments for no other reason that to give a compliment. To be a woman of self worth- i.e. see yourself of being worthy and brilliant so that you're attractive to others. Obviously our slant is that you have self worth because it feels good and aligns you with self.
What struck me was that self improvement all has the same underlying themes- feel good for the sake of the good feeling it brings you and love yourself.
Whether it's business, love, money or whatever, the principals are pretty much the same at the end of the day.
