There has never been a safer time in the history of aviation to fly!!! Though you wouldn't have known it... Xxx

There have a been a few really high profile covered cases of plane crashes and fatalities in the past couple of years (TransAsia, German Wings and Metrojet).

For the nervous flyer or regular Joe, it can seem quite scary to go jetting off with the risk of a crash. But I read an article which said 2015 has actually been a wonderful year for flying!

That really struck me, because if you had asked me, I definitely wouldn't have thought that was the case! It fact, it was called the 'safest year for flying ever' according to the Aviation Safety Network. In fact there exist 25 airlines who have never had a major accident! Even more surprising.

That's the thing with all this news and headlines, one event happens and sooo much focus is put on it and it gets blown way out of proportion and then the everyday person has this image of flying (or whatever it is) that is built up of terror!

Same with cruising (one of my most fave ways of travelling). You hear reasons for people not wanting to cruise as sinking and dying or whatever, yet the CLIA state that between 2005-2011 only 16 people have died out of 100 million passengers- odds of 1 in 6.25 million! Remarkable really.

The point here, is to not be unduly influenced by the scare tactics or preconceptions of things which you haven't found your truth about.

Seek out the info and facts that serve you well. Look for the 99.9999% of well being in the world than the teeny not well being that gets perpetuated over and again. All truly is well in the world and you are not in major jeopardy and even if you do croak, there is pure joy and love waiting on the other side. So it's a win-win!!!

All is well!!!

Happy aviation-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx
