Each of us is wildly different and therefore our experiences will be markedly so. What's out there is not so much as what is actually out there, as it is the meaning and focus we put on it.
There was an experiment which looked at a painting entitled 'The Unexpected Visitor.' After only a few moments of scanning the picture, the experimentees were easily able to work out the general scenario. However upon further inspection and questioning, they got a number of more detailed questions completely wrong. This is because we filter out what is irrelevant and put our attention on what we most need to see. Knowing this, we just need to selectively pay attention to what we would like to experience and see in the world.
It leads on to another important point- don't even bother trying to get anyone else to see the world in the same way as you do. Everyone has had their own experience of life and has come to their own conclusions. There is a rare condition called synesthesia. The people with this condition experience their senses in completely different ways. So, they may associate letters with specific colours and see words as a series of hues. Trying to get them to experience words in the same way as we do would be a futile task! As is trying to make anyone else conform to what you want them to do.
Construct your own reality, based on what makes you happy, what you want to see and experience in the world and know that all you need to do is just change what you project onto the world out there!
All is well!!!
Happy reality-ing!!!
