It's funny how perception really affects things- it's only been a couple of weeks but it feels like a mini eternity- a good mini eternity! Whereas one of my friends back home commented on how quickly the last weeks had gone! Especially on a cruise, time really feels slowed down somewhat, whereas when I'm in life and at work, time usually flies! It's funny how all that perception works...
I love the fresh perspective that adventure gives, you definitely don't need to be in a new environment to be appreciative and in awe of all around you, but a change of scenery can be effective. As I wrote when I first arrived, I must've been the happiest, most exhilarated person in Walgreens (the local pharmacy/grocery store), but I would've thought that for anyone else there, it was just the same ol' mundaneness, going through the motions.
You get to choose how you feel, you get to focus on whatever feels good, but you must be conscious in your choosing. That is the mark of a deliberate creator!
Life can be as good as you choose, it can also be as awful as you choose. The choose is yours ha! Feel good, seek to feel as good as you can... And then... Life will be magical!
All is well!!!
Happy time-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
