We have arrived at Suva and it is looking like a mightily busy place, I'm off to explore!
I am re-loving the Hollywood Roundtables! If you didn't know, it's about an hour long group discussion with the top A-listers in a specific field e.g. Oscar actors 2014, or Emmy comedy actresses, Showrunners 2015 etc
They are asked about their lives, careers, reflections and all sorts of good stuff. I love it because it gives us such a wonderful insight into what makes these incredible consciousnesses, as they really are at the top of their game!
What is interesting, is that they are also asked about working with the different departments, e.g. The actors are asked about how they deal with writers, the studio execs are quizzed on how do they make their next choice of movies etc. And it is so clearly evident that everyone is just doing their best, even though that may not involve making everyone's life easy!
The execs have to make a profit as they have to answer to the shareholders. The showrunners need to answer to the ratings from the studio heads. The actors need to work alongside the directors and writers to get the best performance and so on... And whilst there may be tussles along the way, everyone is just trying to make the best show that they can.
Same with life, everyone is doing their best and has something or someone they have to answer to in some way. What you must do, is instead of pushing against them and using that as your excuse to block up your life, you just make the best of where you are and give your ultimate performance and keep your eye on the goal. And your goal is joy, experience, personal fulfilment and all that good crap!
There will always be someone to answer to in some manner- that's the inherent truth about being in this world and with other people in our lives! You just need to align with your inner being.
All is well, enjoy it all! We make to much of this!!!
