I was chatting to a friend and we were just talking about the holiday she had saved for- the trip was quite a way away but because she had been squirrelling a bit at a time, before ya knew it, it had been paid off already!
Her words were 'that was satisfying!' Music to my ears. It reminded me of the Abraham debt release/weight loss/anything loss process (which I'll be doing in one of my upcoming groups).
What you do is- if you want to release anything- debt, weight or achieve any goal. You make a list of all the things you would need to do e.g. If it was paying off your debts, it would be something like: water bill, phone bill, gas bill, mortgage etc...
You then list these in order going from smallest to highest and put this on some sort of chart/piece of paper. As you complete each one as the weeks go by, you give yourself a star/tick/smiley face, something pleasant which encourages you.
You should find that the more you do, the more satisfying it is and the more you want to do. It's that feeling of 'Oooh, I've completed that, now what?' This in turn should help you release resistance, free up your energy and get you to your goals quicker.
It's similar to just making a list of to-do things and checking it off.
It is one of their more action based processes but it's a good un! It gets you focused on what you do want and not that overwhelment.
All is well!
Happy chart-ing!!!
