What is your personal construct??? Make it a good one... Your memory is up for grabs!!! Xxx

Everyone has their own construct of reality- a mix of memories, perceptions and all that good stuff that goes into making you, you!

The thing is, whilst a number of us like to cling to a supposed real reality- 'oh but it really is true for me!', I must inform you that everything is up for change and misinformation including your very own memories!

There are literally a gazillion things vying for your attention at any point in time, so you are filtering that which is most important to you and placing your attention where you want it to be (either deliberately or by default).

We want you to put a most positive slant on your focus and memories and projections. And it is all up for change, just don't be led by others who would have you complain.

A fascinating study into memory was carried out by the legendary psychologist Elizabeth Loftus. She got participants to watch a video of a car accident. She then asked them to recall certain details about it. They found that just a slight altering of the words had surprisingly profound effects on what was remembered. Eg. if she used the word 'contacted' vs 'smashed' it resulted in an almost 10mph difference in estimating the car speeds!

She also found much evidence to find that memories could be falsely created! Eeek! It stands to reason if you can make things up, might as well make them good feeling!

So, the message here is to not get stuck in the 'realities' which don't serve you- 'Oh, I'll never be able to achieve that! Good things don't happen to me!' And so on...

Instead, create memories which work for you, which support the best of who you are and what you want to experience in this life. It's all up for creation- it is your mind after all!

All is well!!!

Happy memory-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx
