I went to an investing exhibition thing the other day and it was good! As my portfolios and everything is setup and I don't really need or could do anything much further, there wasn't a reason as such I needed to go, but I always love to learn and there's nothing to lose.
Anyways, I went along and attended a couple lectures and it was just a nice confirmation that I knew what I was doing, as the information matched what I believe to be accurate.
It's just nice to keep your head in the game. Whether it's groups, books, YouTube or whatever, just keep growing. At worst, you've 'wasted' your time and learned nothing, at best you can learn and reinvigorate and you may even hear a sentence or two which may end up changing your life.
For me, the information may not hit me over the head, but it goes in there somewhere and it percolates and if it is of positive use, then it leads on to who knows what!
Keep an open mind and just see what's out there. Try different things just to learn and see!
