What's your poison??? Watch your language!!! Xxx

On the bus, I was passing a bar and one of the board's said 'What's your poison?' Referring to what is your favourite alcoholic drink?

The language did strike me however! We use all these idioms and phrases, and we use them mindlessly but when you become conscious, it can be a bit of a shock what you're actually saying!

Louise Hay was horrified when someone said 'Kill two birds with one stone!' Now whilst it can be a bit much, we think and speak all sorts of stuff without realising the vibrational impact. I remember years ago, I was working at a primary school and this child kept pronouncing she was 'brain dead' (or something similar) because she couldn't learn something!

This was before I really knew about this work but it shocked me that someone so young would use such a phrase with such a horrifying image.

So just be a little bit more aware, a little more conscious and correct when you're doing something that doesn't sound or feel right!
