I was watching the Cheryl Richardson and Louise Hay seminar and what a wonderful one it was. Cheryl was speaking about how she was trying to change her habits when she got into arguments with her partner.
She said something along the lines of 'when there's defensiveness there is no communication.' Which is kinda true! I know I can get defensive as one of my coping mechanisms and it's just the feeling of bolting up and saying nothing. Either that or lashing out in an argumentative way.
In an ideal world, you want to operate from a place of security, confidence and calm. This is when things are usually at their most productive and easy. If the vibrational basis from which you think or act is one of insecurity and the like, then it often brings the same back from the other person and then it all ends in tears lol.
But when you're in a light, playful mood, then comments are usually taken in a negative way, you can laugh it off and there's no bother.
Same with life actions. When you're in a good space, you're likely to act in a more inspired way, therefore aligning yourself with ease and flow and then the Universe can match this up for you. And now we're talking!
All is well!!!
