A few points from the session:
- It’s only a thought and it doesn’t need to run your life! When a negative thought crosses your mind, you don’t need to make it such a big deal. You can gently swot it away and not give it more attention!
- Do be paralysed by anxiety. Fear and anxiety are just distorted perceptions of potential realities. They are typically focused on what has gone ‘wrong’ or what could go wrong. But they don’t need to run our life. Do the positive mental work to get yourself into shape and do your best to leave it behind.
- Be patient with yourself, keep working it and see the magic that can happen. It may not change overnight but give it time and you could be living a new life!
- Use whatever you can to fuel the fire to get you to where you want to be. Whether it’s the life giving breath or anger or positive focus, use all the tools at your disposal to propel you to the next level!
