Nina opened the day by focusing on health. Telling a better health story, write your story of how you would like your health to be. State it in the positive, if you don't know what you do want, then just start with what you don't want and write the opposite. You can read it everyday, first thing in the morning is a fab time! As you do this more and more, you create more neural pathways, thus strengthening the ability to be positive. All it takes is a wee bit of practise!
She then led us in a body scan. Closing the eyes and working down the body. What colours, sensations, feelings and messages does your body give you? Go within!
Gunita then looked at work and career. She opened with an amazing clip by Prince ea 'Why most people die before 25.' It was so inspiring!
She then asked us to answer these 6 questions:
1/ If you could become anything, what would it be?
2/ If you could have any job, what would it be?
3/ Do you work in a pleasant environment?
4/ How would you change your employer?
5/ What would you change in your present job?
6/ Who do you need to forgive the most at work?
Then reflect on what it tells you!
Some great affirmations for work:
'I bless this job and release it to someone who will love it and I am free to accept a wonderful new opportunity'
'I always work in harmonious surroundings'
'I honour and respect each person and they in turn honour and respect me'
Maria spoke about gratitude and appreciation. If you say to your friend 'OMG, I loved that gift you gave me!' They are more likely to give you more good stuff. If you say to your friend 'That present kinda sucked!' It's unlikely they are going to go out of their way to do that again for ya!
From when we are children we are always told what to do, it keeps us safe (and alive!). So we learn to look to others for approval- this is less important (or at least should be!) when we become adults.
Maria recommends:
- 5 things to be grateful for, because this raises your soul.
- An act of kindness to someone you love- this should be easy enough right?!
- An anonymous act of kindness. Smile at a stranger, give up your seat to someone on the tube. All with no expectation!
Kristina spoke about connecting to yourself with the breath. She sets three reminders on her phone to be positive, throughout the day. What a wonderful conscious way to be!
Breathe from the heart, in a more conscious manner. This will do wonders for your mental and spiritual well being.
When things are going not very well, say to yourself 'This to shall pass,' and 'What good can come from this?'
Kristina was late for an event so she caught herself getting stressed. She repeated to herself 'What good can come from this?' She sat at the back and ended up working with the assistant of the event- a wonderful lady!
She then got everyone to 'Ha and ah' as loudly as they could and move for a number of minutes! We then opened our throat chakra by singing 'I can see clearly.'
She then got everyone to share their 3 gifts in partners. To acknowledge how brilliant you are and what you bring to the world.
WOW! What a powerful and uplifting day! I just love my EYLE team, they truly are the most amazing, authentic team ever!
