The actors all had their stories mixed up and sang a huge variety of tracks from the films. Overall, I really enjoyed it. The band and tunes were great, the voices were lovely too, although for me, they didn't quite hit the spot for me all of the time.
It then occurred to me that what they had to do was basically sing the songs of everyone from Florence and the Machine to Fergie to Garbage to Ewan McGregor (who did really well in the Tango de Roxanne!).
And that really demands some crazy world class vocals to pull that off!
Anyhoo, it showed me the value of diversity. The original soundtrack artists are all different with a variety of styles and vocal strength. And that mix mix is necessary for life! We need the contrast and difference of it all.
You are all unique and need to be otherwise it would be a boring world! Just enjoy the best of everyone, that is the key to goodness!
All is well!!!
Happy Baz-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
