Louise Hay and Esther Hicks really hit their world changing stride when they were much older!
Louise had a horrific, abused childhood and didn't feel worth anything, especially after her divorce. But one day she heard that if you change your thinking you can change your life. She proceeded to dig deep and learn and read and many years later she had her historically best selling book and her amazing Hay House company!
Esther lived a simple life! Jerry would often quiz her 'What are you thinking?!' To which she would reply 'Well there's a cow, there's some grass' etc. This simplicity set her up perfectly to receive messages from her higher self (when combined with Jerry's quest for answers!).
It just goes to show that you can hit your stride at any point in life! Just be open! Make the best of where you are and who you are. Thank and bless with love all the good and bad experiences as they have made you who you are!
