I watched Lady Gaga's documentary on Netflix and it was rather raw! I wanted some happier sugary fare by Katy Perry, so I watched her 'Part Of Me' tour film.
Towards the end, it shows her breakup with Russell Brand and her absolute crushedness about it all. She's having a meltdown right before a show with her management team asking her if she can continue and do the meet and greets or if she wants to cancel her concert altogether.
She soldiers on and it's rather commendable as minutes before she's due to go on stage she has a sob fest!
She puts on a brave face and carries on but given her state of mind, it wouldn't have been inconceivable to shut everything down, as she was distraught.
The fans would've been furious (apparently some 17,000 of them in her biggest show at the time!) and would've said all sorts of negative things about her but it just goes to show, you never know what's going on behind the smiles of someone.
It's easy to get upset at people if they do seemingly callous things but you just don't know what's going on in their life, so give them the benefit of the doubt and just pay attention to yours!
