I was listening to an Abe clip (a free CD from her land Seattle lecture, thank you very much!). And they put it perfectly when they said that when you play a match you didn't want to play people who were too easy to beat, but not so beyond you that you got discouraged.
Seek out that balance in life, that constant flow between ease and flow and expansion. This world is endless in possibilities and experiences which can lift you to new levels. Much like Goldilocks you wanted that which is just right.
You are the creator of your reality, by the thoughts you think and the emotions you feel. You draw to you all that is a vibrational match to what you are sending out. By choosing what you wish to focus on, you can have the most enjoyable life experience or the most miserable. The choice is yours!
