Nowadays, many decades later with a ton of work done on myself, I try not to worry as much! However, it's easy to slip back into that mode. So it takes conscious effort, work and a bit of surrender! But if I'm not aware, I'll easily slip into worry mode which can bring me back to being a kid at school again.
You may always be you with your bad habits, but doesn't mean you can't change or at least improve!
