The scientist went onto to say something like that the gut is the 'second brain' of the body and has tons of millions of nerves in it. And that 'gut feeling' is a real thing!
Whilst these people were speaking about it in relation to food and mood, it highlights how our guts, our emotional centres are so vital to the healthy function of our well being.
All we do everyday is encourage you to tune into your gut feeling, your emotions. This is because your emotions are you guide through life, they are indicating to you how far in or out of alignment you are with who you really are.
You think a thought and it activates an emotional response, this is letting you know if you're in alignment or not. If you're feeling good then odds are, you're in alignment, if it feels bad, then likely you need to re work it, into a better feeling place.
You have your own internal guidance leading you on your best path, it's just we usually ignore it and/or listen to someone else's guidance. The goal of the game is to carve out your own path and follow your heart, your gut, your intuition.
You have been born with all you need to live a fulfilling life, it's just sometimes we forget and hand over our power to others who somehow manage to convince us that they know better for us. Tune them out and just believe in you!
